share the care

Being diagnosed with a life threatening illness is not the end of the world. It is the beginning of a new chapter in your life. A chapter in which Camdeboo Hospice can make a difference.

Hospice is a life-enhancing support system, which promotes quality of life, dignity in death, and support in bereavement, subscribing to the philosophy of Palliative care which represents a special way of caring for patients where cure is no longer likely.

Friends of Hospice / Hospice Heroes

Hospice Heroes

Who are our Hospice Hero’s?

Volunteers that donate their time to assist with the jumble, bric-a-brac, book sales and our events, “you are a Hospice Hero”.

Those people that give financially to our cause, “you are a Hospice Hero”.

Everyone that donates Books, Jumble (Clothing, etc) and Bric-a-Brac (all household, garage and garden goods) to our thrift shop, “you are a Hospice Hero”.

Camdeboo Hospice is truly grateful to each and every one that donates in whichever way, this helps us continue “sharing the care”.

Friends of Hospice

Members of the community are invited to become a “Friend of Hospice” by paying a minimal recurring fee which can be paid either monthly, quarterly or bi-annually (6 months), whichever suits you. This helps us to continue the good work we have become renowned for.

Friends of Hospice are entitled to serve on the Board and may, in turn, nominate community members to the Board.

As a member you will be asked to help with our fundraising efforts by promoting, buying and selling tickets for our planned events.
